Overview
The Road Construction Inspector Assistant will support site supervision and reporting for urban transport infrastructure works under the Somalia Urban Resilience Project II (SURP II). The role assists in monitoring construction progress, quality, and environmental/social safeguards.
Tasks Summary
- Assist in daily supervision of construction works and maintaining site diaries on progress and quality
- Assist in monitoring social and environmental impact management activities and record keeping
- Assist in measuring completed works to verify contractor invoices
- Assist in site surveys, material sampling, and progress monitoring as directed
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction works (if no formal engineering training)
Qualification Requirements
Diploma in civil engineering will be an asset
