Overview
Support the identification, assessment, and reception of vulnerable applicants for international protection. Facilitate daily operations and coordinate access to services for vulnerable individuals.
Tasks Summary
- Support vulnerability screening, identification, and assessment of applicants for international protection
- Facilitate daily operations of sections for reception of vulnerable persons, including in disembarkation sites
- Coordinate and facilitate reception and access to services for minor or adult vulnerable applicants
- Support implementation of age assessment procedures
- Provide support in drafting SOPs and workshops related to vulnerability
- Implement quality assurance activities for protection procedures
- Contribute to training and/or coaching activities
- Enhance coordination of actors involved in protection matters
- Support set-up of local networks for vulnerabilities
Experience Requirements
- 3 years of proven professional experience in protection of vulnerable applicants for international protection (Protection Expert)
- 5 years of proven professional experience in protection of vulnerable applicants for international protection (Senior Protection Expert)
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (EQF 6 or equivalent)
