The school offers non-formal education without academic requirements for admittance and with no exams. Instead, the focus is on community building, art projects and sustainability. The school has 50-70 students, most are between 18 and 30. Among the subjects at the school there are dance, music, regenerative farming, ceramics, textile crafts, sustainable building, wood work, permaculture, art, and performance writing. As a volunteer, you will work in the garden, besides working hours you can take part in some of the above mentioned activities as well. Training during the activity The volunteer will participate in an on-arrival and mid-term training provided by the national agency and is also invited to participate in events and camps organized by Dansk ICYE where there will be the possibility to socialize and meet other volunteers from all over the world. Participant profile The volunteer must have a great INTEREST craftmans work and in ecology and organic farming/gardening , like to use his/her hands. He/she must be able to communicate in English.
