Are you looking for a volunteering opportunity but you are afraid to leave your country for the full 12 months? Maybe you could be interested in the opportunity we offer. We are looking for volunteers who would join our international team in Náchod from 1st July (or later) till 31st August 2025. The volunteer´s work will consist of help in non-formal educational activities in our leisure time center, especially help on summer camps. You will be in daily touch with the target group of children aged 3-13 years old. You will also cooperate with the main pedagogue - leader of the camp, who will involve you in all the preparations. You will leave with a great experience, knowing a new country and culture. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements The tickets you will buy for the journey for the project and back home will be reimbursed. You don´t have to pay for accommodation, it is fully funded from the project. Moreover, you will recieve mohtly pocket money to buy your own food and personal things. You will live in a shared apartment with your own room. The apartment is fully equipped. You will not have to travel daily to the organization, you will live in the same town close to the organization´s seat. Náchod is a small town - however it has many shops, sport facilities, a cinema, cafés, restaurants and bars. Training during the activity You will have the opportunity to take an intensive course and continue learning Czech with an experienced teacher. Learning the basics of the Czech language will help you in everyday activities with young children, but it will also benefit your personal life outside of work. During your volunteering you will be under leading of the coordinator and pedagogue, who will help you with all the steps at the beginning - in case that you cannot prepare the activity fully by yourself, we will be helpful. Participant profile We expect that you are an open-minded, responsible and flexible person who is interested in pedagogy and enjoys working with children. The age of the candidate must be between 18 and 30 years old. We want to be sure that you understand the term VOLUNTEERING and that you don´t take the project as a thing that only you should benefit from. You don´t have to have any special qualifications to apply for this project. We will teach you everything. It will be helpful if you speak at least a little bit of English so the communication can be easier.
