Overview
Provides J6 CISOPS Situational Awareness by monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the status of JFCBS CIS in Area of Responsibility (AOR) to enhance decision-making and response capabilities against potential threats and disruptions.
Tasks Summary
- Provide J6 CISOPS Situational Awareness, NCOP, and respond to CIS related CCIR/RFI and edit WARNO/FRAGO
- Develop and maintain situational awareness tools and dashboards for CIS availability, operational situation, and security posture
- Collaborate with DCO, IA, and NCIA to integrate analysis findings into NCOP and risk assessments
- Coordinate on current CIS events impacting JFCBS mission with JADOC
- Provide expert analysis and advice on implications of CIS status changes and potential threats
- Produce detailed reports and briefings with actionable insights and recommendations
- Support continuous improvement of CIS situational awareness procedures
- Act as CIS OPS watch keeper and information manager in JADOC/CJOC
- Follow up on J6 related activities within the NRM process
- Oversee NATO Mission Networks within JTF-C JOA
- Provide presentations on Cyberspace Operations related subjects/issues
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in a Network Operations Center or similar
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in CIS OPS Situational awareness
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in IT/CIS capability development
- Professional experience of CIS and IT structure
Qualification Requirements
• University Degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field
