Staff Officer role focused on Resilience, Civilian Preparedness Liaison, Analysis, and Protection of Civilians within Joint Force Command Brunssum.
Tasks Summary
- Support assessment of national resilience impact on NATO operations
- Support development and monitoring of Resilience through Civil Preparedness (RtCP)
- Interface with entities for direction and guidance
- Ensure RtCP inclusion in planning, exercises, and operations
- Support analysis for Comprehensive Preparation of the Environment and CIMIC Estimate
- Advise, coordinate, and de-conflict on RtCP matters
- Support development and maintenance of data tools and information products
- Contribute to planning, reporting, conduct, and evaluation of operations with responsibility for Protection of Civilians (PoC)
- Contribute to management of crisis specific information portals
- Undertake work as part of project teams or working groups
- May be required to undertake deployments up to 183 days
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience analyzing data and converting these data into conclusions and assessments
- Experienced and skilled writer/editor of texts at senior management level
- Proven experience advising senior management
- Proven experience interacting with senior government officials
- Professional experience using current office applications and web-based information systems
- Experience working with or within international organizations in relevant field
- Experience developing and executing plans and projects involving a large number of stakeholders (minimum 25)
