Overview
Support UIL in advancing lifelong learning policies and practices at national and local levels through capacity-building and follow-up activities. Contribute to developing knowledge and training resources, facilitating engagement, and supporting key resources related to the Greening Communities Guide.
Tasks Summary
- Revise ESD Online Course and support coordination of the GNLC ESD working group
- Develop hybrid workshop format for implementing the course
- Assist in coordinating the GNLC’s ESD Working Group activities and meetings
- Support organization of capacity building webinars for Greening Communities Guidance implementation
- Contribute to development of a support package with materials for guidance usability
- Draft elements for a social media campaign on greening communities
- Coordinate translation of the guidance document into Spanish
- Engage in exchange with Greening Education Partnership Secretariat
- Develop and implement targeted RVA training packages for selected countries
- Develop bilateral training packages for two countries, including content and workshop design
- Organize and implement bilateral training workshops
- Evaluate training outcomes and provide short report
- Develop capacity-building training on UNESCO Qualifications Passport and RVA
- Collaborate to co-create online training for UNESCO Qualifications Passport evaluators
- Co-develop and support enhancement of cross-country analysis report for Global Inventory of National and Regional Qualifications Frameworks
Experience Requirements
- Experience in promoting sustainable development through flexible and inclusive lifelong learning systems
- Experience in Recognition, Validation and Accreditation (RVA) of non-formal and informal learning
- Experience in developing national systems for RVA
- Experience in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and lifelong learning for climate action
- Experience in developing and implementing local lifelong learning policies and strategies
- Experience in coordinating UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC) ESD Working Group
