Overview
The Market Systems Development Coordinator - Supply Chain Development will lead the design and management of pilot interventions to strengthen inclusive market systems in Jordan, focusing on creating decent employment opportunities for Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians.
Tasks Summary
- Lead the design and management of pilot interventions to incentivize enterprises to adopt inclusive business models
- Expand market opportunities for home-based businesses
- Strengthen supporting functions for inclusive market growth
- Translate research and evidence into practical partnerships
- Engage businesses in co-creating solutions
- Focus on how the system can work better for vulnerable groups at scale
- Work closely with local stakeholders, private sector actors, civil society partners, consultants and the ILO technical team to ensure pilot alignment with the project’s Theory of Change and generation of lessons for policy dialogue and replication.
Experience Requirements
- Strong understanding of private sector dynamics
- Partnership building experience
- Experience with local enterprise challenges in Jordan
- Systems thinking and facilitation experience
- Experience working in an adaptive way to unlock practical, sustainable change
