Overview
Responsible for managing resource management functions in a Sub-Office and assisting in the implementation and monitoring of project activities.
Tasks Summary
- Assist in project implementation and monitoring
- Retrieve, compile, summarize, analyze, and present project information
- Monitor budget and verify fund availability
- Act as focal point for administrative coordination
- Draft status reports and correspondence
- Respond to information requests and maintain files
- Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions
- Participate in meetings and conferences
- Coordinate implementation activities with stakeholders
- Monitor work of implementing partners
- Provide guidance/training to junior staff
Experience Requirements
- Five years of relevant experience with a school diploma
- Three years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, UN agencies, and NGOs
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage
Qualification Requirements
- School diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields
