Overview
Provide technical and project management support for animal health and production within the FAO Egypt country program. Contribute to program design, provide technical advice, and coordinate animal health and livestock production projects.
Tasks Summary
- Contribute to programme design and strategic discussions in animal health and production
- Provide technical advice, guidance and support to animal health and production components in projects
- Update teams on policies and developments in livestock, animal health and One Health
- Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant ministries and stakeholders
- Lead resource mobilization efforts in the livestock sector
- Coordinate with HQ and RNE technical officers
- Coordinate and provide day-to-day guidance to project staff
- Contribute to the preparation of annual work plans
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of project activities
- Establish and act as ex officio member of Projects Steering committees
- Support the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks
- Lead the analysis of projects’ data and contribute to policy briefs
- Facilitate the development of procurement plans
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor projects’ implementation
- Organize and lead coordination meetings with projects’ personnel
- Lead and coordinate key projects’ events
