Overview
The role supports engagement with the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and other relevant counterparts to guide WFP Country Offices in supporting national governments towards achieving SDG 2.
Tasks Summary
- Manage and respond to FCDO enquiries
- Conduct partner profiling and develop outreach plans
- Maintain an overview of forecasts and gather partner intelligence
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize data
- Conduct research and draft notes-to-the-file
- Collaborate with COs to develop and manage partnership/contribution action plans
- Utilize socio-political insights to support WFP’s strategic positioning
- Provide strategic advice and support to WFP leadership
- Draft briefing materials for WFP leadership
- Support missions of WFP leaders to the UK
- Coordinate and oversee special projects, briefs, and initiatives
Experience Requirements
- Experience in managing and responding to partner enquiries
- Experience in partner profiling and data analysis
- Experience in information systems (e.g., WINGS, Salesforce, WFPGo)
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and synthesis
- Experience in research and analysis
- Experience in collaboration with country offices
- Experience in developing and managing partnership/contribution action plans
- Experience in drafting briefing materials
- Experience in supporting high-level missions
