ILO Procurement Notice: [Re-ADV] Call for External Collaborator–National Evaluator to support the International Evaluator in conducting a Final Independent Evaluation of Building Responsible Value Chains in Asia through the Promotion of Decent Work in Business Operations–Phase II


Tasks Summary
  • Dear Bidder, ILO is looking for an individual to undertake the following tasks as an External Collaborator:
  • Contribute to the desk review of relevant documents for the overall evaluation.
  • Proactively provide local knowledge and insights to the international consultant.
  • Arrange and conduct field data collection; participate in interviews with key stakeholders; assist the team leader by taking notes, transcribing, and preparing brief reports based on key observations and conclusions.
  • Contribute to the main evaluation report prepared by the team leader.
  • Translate essential final documents (e.g. PowerPoint presentations of findings and recommendations, and the executive summary) from English into Japanese, as required.
  • Support the team leader as needed, including drafting specific report sections and co-facilitating stakeholder workshops. Provide interpretation during data collection activities, as required. Candidates intending to submit an expression of interest must supply the following information: 1.A description of how the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience are relevant to the required qualifications of this assignment. 2.A list if previous evaluations/ work that are relevant in relation to the context and subject matter of this assignment. 3.Copies of examples of evaluation/ research works like this nature of evaluation. 4.A statement confirming the availability of the candidate to conduct this assignment and the daily professional fees expressed in US dollars. 5.A copy of the candidates’ CV (which much include the information about the qualifications held by the candidates). 6.A statement confirming that the candidate has no previous involvement in the delivery of the RAS/24/50/JPN & RAS/24/51/JPN projects or a personal relationship with any ILO officials engaged in the delivery of these interventions. 7.The names of two referees (email address) who managed the evaluations mentioned in the point No 3 above.
