Overview
The Digital Workplace Specialist advances the adoption, usability, and improvement of WVI’s Microsoft 365 and collaboration platforms. This role bridges strategic direction and execution to enhance user experience and ensure digital tools are effective for a globally distributed workforce.
Tasks Summary
- Plan and execute pilots and user testing, synthesizing insights to inform the roadmap and enhance user experience.
- Develop and maintain personas, journey maps, and experience roadmaps.
- Create enablement assets such as guidelines, templates, and FAQs.
- Monitor adoption and usage metrics and deliver decision-ready reports.
- Serve as the primary liaison with GTS and Architects for platform readiness and experience configuration.
- Conduct demos and workshops, supporting regional champions.
Experience Requirements
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 user experience (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook).
- Proven experience in user training, adoption, and change management for digital tools.
- Familiarity with user-centric design principles and experience in user research or feedback analysis.
- Good-to-have: 5+ years in digital workplace, UX/adoption, or digital transformation roles.
- Good-to-have: Experience working in federated, nonprofit, or humanitarian organizations.
- Good-to-have: Familiarity with adoption and governance tools such as Viva Insights, Microsoft Admin portals, or similar telemetry/reporting platforms.
- Good-to-have: Understanding of service lifecycle governance, persona-driven design, and platform enablement practices.
