Lead advisory projects end-to-end, from diagnostic assessment to improvement opportunities and change initiatives, producing proposals and recommendations for Senior Management. Implement best practice project and change management to support effective decision making.
Tasks Summary
- Lead advisory projects end-to-end
- Develop methodology, tools, and plan for advisory practice
- Plan and manage advisory services at IOM Headquarters
- Ensure advisory reports are succinct, clear, and provide insightful recommendations
- Lead knowledge sharing and capacity building projects
- Apply best practice project management and facilitate change management
- Manage and lead teams in delivering advisory and special assignments
- Provide strategic, expert advice and guidance to teams
- Provide technical appraisal and expert guidance to supervisors
- Identify potential targets for value-add advisory reviews
- Deliver advisories and provide quality reports
- Ensure advisories are delivered on time and within budget
- Manage stakeholder engagement
- Manage follow-up of advisory recommendations
Experience Requirements
- Seven years of relevant professional experience (nine years for Bachelor’s Degree holders)
- Several years in a supervisory or managerial capacity overseeing advisory teams, preferably in management consulting companies
- Experience interacting with Executive-level management and Board-level stakeholders
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of experienced professionals in a multi-cultural setting
Qualification Requirements
Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or other related fields from an accredited academic institution; or University degree in the above fields
