Overview
To implement and monitor Food & Economic Security (FES) activities at field level with participation of key stakeholders. The role involves working with Oxfam field staff, Village Development Committees, financial service providers, local authorities, and Agribusiness actors.
Tasks Summary
- Implement and monitor FES activities at field level
- Participate with key stakeholders including Oxfam field staff, Village Development Committees, financial service providers, local authorities, and other Agribusiness actors along the value chain.
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in implementing food security and livelihood project activities
- 2 years of demonstrated experience in implementing market-based and/or value chain programmes and livelihood activities
- Experience in supporting enterprises (home based businesses, micro and small enterprises)
- Demonstrated experience in use of participatory approaches to undertake value chain intervention, assessment and analysis with community leaders, local authorities, private and market actors and local partners
- Proven experience in managing and supervising teams, including performance management, delegation, and mentoring (minimum 1 year)
- Demonstrated experience in gender and protection mainstreaming
- Demonstrated experience in project management cycle
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in economics, Agriculture, Engineering, Social Sciences, or other relevant fields
