Overview
Support the implementation of the Hangzhou Strategic Action Plan within IberoMAB and the World Network of Mountain Biosphere Reserves. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of climate change and biodiversity restoration projects.
Tasks Summary
- Design, develop, document and synthesise data, processes and information related to the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme.
- Support reporting, capacity development, and strategic planning across regional and thematic networks.
- Implement the Hangzhou Strategic Action Plan within IberoMAB and the World Network of Mountain Biosphere Reserves.
- Assist in climate change and biodiversity restoration projects in four biosphere reserves.
- Prepare analytical reports, assessment of network progress, consultation-based analysis, and implementation guidance packages.
- Develop quarterly analytical briefing notes.
- Consolidate and synthesise project documentation, success cases, and communication-oriented synthesis products.
- Systematise thematic inputs for the 4th IberoMAB Youth Forum.
Experience Requirements
Experience in supporting the implementation of strategic action plans. Experience in climate change and biodiversity restoration projects. Experience in developing communication-oriented synthesis products.
