Overview
The Project Assistant will support the Project Manager in coordinating project activities, preparing analytical outputs on school-zone crash risks in Viet Nam, and research on investment solutions in India. The role also involves consolidating analyses of interventions and supporting capacity-building workshops and meetings.
Tasks Summary
- - Support the Project Manager in coordinating project activities.
- - Prepare evidence-based analytical outputs on school-zone crash risks in Viet Nam.
- - Conduct research and analytical outputs on investment solutions in India.
- - Assist in consolidating analyses of cost-effective interventions.
- - Support the organization of capacity-building workshops and meetings.
- - Deliver an evidence-based draft report informed by a systematic review of national/provincial legislation, current practices and international deliverables.
- - Provide an integrated monitoring toolkit with updated progress matrices, periodic status briefs and data visualizations for ESCAP and donor reporting.
- - Provide responsive implementation support, including additional analytical inputs and coordination tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
Experience Requirements
- - Prior experience on transport research and analysis.
- - Familiarity with the Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals and indicators.
- - Experience with international organization (desirable).
- - Transport planning and research for project implementation (desirable).
- - Transport research and data analysis for project implementation (desirable).
Qualification Requirements
Advanced university degree in any fields.
