Overview

The Monitoring and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for ensuring effective project monitoring and reporting, facilitating knowledge management and learning, and providing support for evaluations and audits.


Tasks Summary
  • Systematically collect, analyze, and clean data for project indicators.
  • Report in UNDP’s corporate monitoring systems (IMRP and Quantum).
  • Administer and provide quality assurance for project dashboard inputs.
  • Organize and/or participate in field monitoring visits.
  • Collect lessons learned related to project implementation.
  • Collect inputs for corporate, donor, and government reports.
  • Conduct fact-checking, proofreading, editing, and translation of report content.
  • Support report finalization and coordinate workflow with editors and designers.
  • Provide technical support for knowledge product development.
  • Participate in internal review working groups for knowledge products.
  • Support finalization of ABR knowledge products.
  • Support knowledge product communication and dissemination.
  • Support ABR team in preparation of briefing notes and presentations.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating capacity-development sessions.
  • Maintain standardized documentation practices in ABR SharePoint.
  • Support in developing terms of reference for evaluations.
  • Prepare data and information requested for evaluations and audits.
  • Contribute to reviewing evaluation reports and preparing management responses.
  • Ensure using data from evaluations for reporting purposes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data collection tools.
  • Contribute to the organization of surveys.
  • Support SCORE implementation.
  • Assist with visualization and summarizing key findings of research.
  • Identify, synthesize and document best practices and lessons learned.
  • Ensure mainstreaming of gender equality and women’s empowerment considerations.

Experience Requirements

Applicants with Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience at the national or international level in monitoring, reporting, evaluation, research, or data management within development, humanitarian assistance, or early recovery projects.


Qualification Requirements
  • Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Sociology, Social Sciences, Statistics, Information Management, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field is required;
  • A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
