Overview

The Roster (on-call) Driver provides reliable and safe driving services, ensuring high accuracy of work and a client-oriented approach. The role involves driving office vehicles for authorized personnel and supporting office-related transportation needs.

Tasks Summary

• Driving office vehicle for transport of authorized personnel; delivery and collection of mail, documents and other item;
• Meeting official personnel and visitors at the airport, visa and customs formalities arrangement when required;
• Ensures support in office related transportation (equipment, furniture, relocation of equipment and office relocation, etc);
• Responsibility for management and maintenance of office vehicle, perform minor repairs and arranges for other repairs; ensures that vehicle is kept clean, check oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc;
• Log official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes greasing etc;
• Ensure that steps required by the national laws and regulations as well as UNDP are taken in case of involvement in accident;
• Responsible for maintenance of inventory of vehicle equipment;
• Responsible for maintenance of inventory of security/communication equipment (VHF radios);
• Follow up and to ensure full implementation of all security rules and regulations;
• Ensure timely advance notification of scheduled trips in order to obtain the required security clearances;
• Perform other duties as required.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years' work experience as a professional driver;
• Safe driving record.

Qualification Requirements

• High School certificate
• Valid Driver’s license

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in any of local languages (Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian), basic knowledge of English language.
