Overview

To support voluntary return monitoring activities, conduct interviews, and contribute to broader protection interventions.

Tasks Summary

• Conduct voluntary return interviews to monitor voluntariness, inform individuals of their rights and options, detect protection concerns, and document the process.
• Participate in counselling sessions, prepare case summaries, update the protection database, and support referrals.
• Assist in interpreting during field visits, protection assessments/interviews, community consultations, and coordination meetings.
• Provide translation of relevant documents and materials.
• Participate in trainings, workshops, and inter-agency coordination meetings.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma; or 1 year of relevant experience with a bachelor’s (or equivalent) or higher.

Languages Required: Excellent command of Arabic and English (spoken and written) required. Knowledge of Turkish at, at least a B2 level is required.

Work Modality: These positions are based in Gaziantep. Travel within the area of responsibility may be required.

Remuneration: Remuneration at the level of the vacancy (G4 level or G5 level as applicable) based on the International Civil Services Commission (ICSC) salary scale.
