Overview

Consultant to contextualise JICA's Mathematics Worksheets for Sudan, develop assessment tools, and support teacher training for a school reopening project.

Tasks Summary

• Review and adapt JICA's mathematics worksheets for Sudan's curriculum, including language and illustrations.
• Develop pre- and post-tests for learners and analyse results.
• Support the creation of teacher training materials for remedial lessons.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of five years’ professional experience in mathematics education.
• Primary-level teaching experience is an advantage.
• Experience working with the UN or international organisations is considered an asset.

Qualification Requirements

• MA or other advanced university degree in mathematics education/pedagogy, or in basic education, foundational literacy and numeracy, or curriculum and instruction.

Other Details

Languages Required: Strong skills in both Arabic and English.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: February/March to August, with the final report due by 31 August 2026.
