Overview
Support the development and implementation of integrated strategies for youth and social and behavioral change programs. Ensure monitoring of cooperation program interventions and provide technical support to partners.
Tasks Summary
- Initiate/support planning, implementation, and monitoring of social and behavioral change activities.
- Contribute to documenting program achievements and lessons learned.
- Implement and monitor community empowerment, listening, and data collection activities.
- Implement and monitor interventions to strengthen youth engagement and employability.
- Provide technical support for quality assurance of integrated SBC/Youth programs.
- Contribute to training and mentoring of community actors on SBC approaches.
- Promote the use of digital tools and local innovations for youth participation.
- Contribute to advocacy activities for youth engagement.
- Participate in program visibility through communication actions and success stories.
- Provide logistical support for SBC/Youth program implementation.
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
- Strengthen partnerships and collaboration with state partners and civil society organizations.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience at national and/or international level in youth program management and social and behavioral change communication.
- Experience working with the UN or another international development organization.
- Experience in social and behavioral change communication.
- Experience in collaboration with national development partners in Côte d’Ivoire.
- Knowledge of different actors and entities in social and behavioral change in Côte d’Ivoire.
- Knowledge of communication and marketing tools and approaches for integrated operational plans.
- Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work effectively within a multicultural team.
- Solid general knowledge of IT, including MS Office applications and email/internet.
- Familiarity with database management and office equipment.
- Good knowledge of software for processing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
- Self-motivation, ability to work with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social and/or Behavioral Sciences, Anthropology, Government, Social Communication, Marketing, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development.
