Overview

Oversee the consortium management unit and coordinate the work of various stakeholders to achieve consortium objectives. Act as a focal point and represent the consortium to external parties.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with consortium members for high-quality implementation, compliance, and accountability.
  • Ensure effective coordination and communication among members, committees, teams, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Recruit and manage consortium-specific staff, consultants, and sub-contractors.
  • Manage the consortium management unit’s budget, assets, and resources.
  • Develop and implement a multi-year consortium strategy.
  • Represent the consortium to external stakeholders.
  • Manage grant lifecycle including proposals, reporting, filing, and agreements.
  • Coordinate monitoring and evaluation of member activities.
  • Coordinate Steering Committee meetings and implement agreed actions.
  • Ensure compliance with NRC policies and procedures.
  • Manage RRM Consortium members' inputs to workplans and reporting.
  • Oversee the design and deliverables of the RRM.
  • Manage RRM Consortium tracking tools and develop new ones.
  • Track progress, consolidate, and analyse management information.
  • Engage with RRM Consortium partners to increase quality of design and response.
  • Manage programme and financial risks.
  • Manage the grant relationship with ECHO and represent the consortium with other donors.
  • Review and update the RRM Consortium Common Rationale.
  • Engage with advocacy actors to advance consortium objectives.
  • Support learning across member organisations.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior project management and/or coordination for an international organisation with responsibility for programming in a humanitarian, conflict or post-conflict context; or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in project cycle management and grant management.
  • Experience working with the ECHO.
  • Experience with external representation.
  • Experience working in complex emergencies, volatile contexts.
  • Experience working in Mozambique is essential.
Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in relevant field.

Languages Required
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with strong writing and editing skills.
Languages Preferred
• Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage
