Overview
The IT Officer, Business Solutions I role focuses on leading and contributing to the development and maintenance of applications and services supporting the World Bank’s Operations Procurement work program. The position involves defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Tasks Summary
- Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and teams.
- Facilitate collaboration between business, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Translate business needs into user stories and technical specifications.
- Define and prioritize MVP features and backlog items.
- Manage the product lifecycle using agile, data-driven planning.
- Participate in SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Reviews, and Stand-ups.
- Lead technical discussions with architects and developers.
- Oversee product development and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Conduct research to identify use cases and unmet needs.
- Document and distribute meeting minutes and weekly status reports.
- Refine and prioritize Product Backlog.
- Define User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
- Create Product Vision Boards, Roadmaps, and MVP feature rankings.
- Provide input to PI Objectives and ART Roadmaps.
- Prepare regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Develop LCNC solution documentation and user guides.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience developing and implementing technical product strategies and managing the full product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to understand Low code No Code Application Platform capabilities, limitations, and architecture.
- Experience working directly with developers and architects to shape technical solutions.
- Proven experience in successfully delivering technology-centric or AI-enabled products including defining MVPs, user stories, and product roadmaps.
- Strong background in translating business goals into actionable product requirements, clear product vision, and strategic roadmaps.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in data analytics to track product metrics, client satisfaction, and team performance.
Qualification Requirements
• A master’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of product management experience.
