Provide specialized legal expertise to support IRC’s programs in Trieste, focusing on individual legal counselling for refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants, and ensuring the legal accuracy of information products.
Tasks Summary
- Act as a legal advisor for IRC Trieste and Refugee.Info teams, providing guidance on legal and procedural questions.
- Manage selected legal cases requiring in-depth follow-up.
- Review and validate the legal accuracy of articles and information products published through the Refugee.Info digital information service.
- Provide legal input to IRC’s advocacy and protection work in Trieste.
- Participate in internal coordination meetings.
Experience Requirements
Proven ability in synthetizing complex legal information for the general public.
Qualification Requirements
- Degree in Law
- Broad knowledge and understanding of International Human Rights and Refugee Law, as well as National Asylum and Immigration Law
