Overview
Supports the effective implementation of projects delivered through local partners by facilitating coordination, monitoring compliance and progress, supporting capacity strengthening, and ensuring proper documentation and information flow.
Tasks Summary
- Ensure compliance with NRC policies, guidelines, standards, and partnership frameworks.
- Support effective partnership management through coordinated engagement and collaborative working relationships with local partners.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation of partner activities, agreements, and related project records.
- Support monitoring and documentation of partner-implemented project activities, including progress against workplans, contracts, expenditures, and deliverables.
- Contribute to quality assurance of partner-implemented activities by identifying issues, supporting corrective actions, and promoting continuous improvement.
- Provide day-to-day support and contribute to capacity strengthening of partner and project staff.
- Promote and support the integration of Safe and Inclusive Programming (SIP), do-no-harm principles, and accountability commitments across partner-led activities.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with partners, ensuring timely information sharing and follow-up.
- Organize and participate in partnership meetings, workshops, and joint planning or review sessions.
- Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy.
- Support the development, amendment and management of partnership agreements.
- Act as a day-to-day focal point for partners on partnership-related processes.
- Maintain up to date partnership trackers, files and documentation.
- Support PCM activities with partners.
- Assist in monitoring the progress and quality of partner implemented activities.
- Support coordination with MEL colleagues to ensure appropriate monitoring arrangements, data quality, and use of disaggregated data.
- Support monitoring of partner compliance with NRC policies, donor requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Support safeguarding, accountability to affected populations (AAP), and community engagement requirements in partner-led projects.
- Support organisational assessments of partners and contribute to identifying priority capacity strengthening needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of partner capacity strengthening plans.
- Support partners in understanding and applying NRC reporting procedures, templates and timelines.
- Coordinate closely with Programme and Support teams to ensure timely support to partners.
- Contribute to partnership mapping, analysis and reporting.
- Support the implementation of NRC’s partnership strategy.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a related field, including partnerships and civil society strengthening;
- Proven ability to work effectively with national and local civil society organizations is required;
- Good understanding of donor regulations and grants and partnership management;
- Knowledge of NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector;
- Experience in capacity-sharing and community-based programming;
- Experience in coordinating activities and liaising with external actors.
