HR Senior Associate

Overview

The HR Senior Associate administers and implements a wide range of human resources plans and processes to support office personnel, acting as a primary point of contact for internal and external clients.

Tasks Summary

• Support the development and implementation of HR policies by gathering and updating data on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide guidance on HR systems and processes, including recruitment, contract administration, and performance management.
• Contribute to all stages of the recruitment and selection process.
• Prepare and calculate fees for personnel under individual contractor agreements (ICA).
• Maintain HR transactional data in the institutional resource planning system.
• Support the organization and facilitation of training and learning sessions on HR topics.

Experience Requirements

• Relevant experience includes work in any area of human resources management.
• Experience in using web-based management systems and productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, G-Suite).
• Desired: Experience working in multicultural environments or UN system organizations in a developing country.
• Desired: Experience in development or humanitarian contexts.

Qualification Requirements

• Required: Secondary education (or equivalent) with 7 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Desired: Professional certification in human resources management recognized globally or nationally.
