Cash and Market Systems Adviser Myanmar

Overview

The Cash and Market Systems Adviser will lead NRC Myanmar’s strategic vision, oversight, and development of cash and market systems-based programming. The role holder will support and influence strategic development processes, market assessments, and analysis.

Tasks Summary

• Cash strategy leadership, initiation, coordination, and delivery.
• Guidelines, standard operating procedures, and training materials development.
• Funding proposals, project budgets, and donor reports input.
• Programme strategies contribution, review, and guidance.
• Cash and market systems application assistance and support.
• Capacity building and training of technical and partner staff.
• Stakeholder relations, networking, and partnership development.
• Forums/cluster/working groups participation and representation.

Experience Requirements

• Cash and market-based programming, with a focus on market systems experience.
• Cash and voucher assistance and market-based programming expertise in a humanitarian response setting.
• Digital payment platforms and cash and voucher assistance delivery tools familiarity.
• Complex and volatile context exposure.

Languages Required: • English fluency, both written and verbal.

Contract Duration: 12-month contract duration

Work Modality:

Remuneration: Grade 8 in NRC’s National Salary Scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.
