Overview
Seeking an Early Career Professional to support the Forum’s work on Economy, Trade and Jobs in Greater China, contributing to research, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct desktop research on economic, trade, and job developments in China and globally.
- Support scoping exercises for opportunities and challenges in Greater China.
- Analyze policy developments, market trends, and industry shifts.
- Identify and map key stakeholders in Greater China.
- Support coordination of cross-centre initiatives.
- Assist in preparing executive briefings, meeting summaries, and stakeholder profiles.
- Support event logistics, coordination, and preparation of materials.
- Draft agendas, talking points, blogs, and communication materials.
- Help organize workshops, dialogues, and roundtables.
- Assist in preparing marketing materials, presentations, and reports.
- Support translation and localization of key documents.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Experience
- 1–3 years of professional or research experience.
- Familiarity with economic policy, trade dynamics, labor markets, sustainability, and/or public-private collaboration.
- Experience in research, business development, or stakeholder engagement is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, International Relations, Public Policy, Business, Political Science, or related fields.
