Overview

Seeking an Early Career Professional to support the Forum’s work on Economy, Trade and Jobs in Greater China, contributing to research, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct desktop research on economic, trade, and job developments in China and globally.
  • Support scoping exercises for opportunities and challenges in Greater China.
  • Analyze policy developments, market trends, and industry shifts.
  • Identify and map key stakeholders in Greater China.
  • Support coordination of cross-centre initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing executive briefings, meeting summaries, and stakeholder profiles.
  • Support event logistics, coordination, and preparation of materials.
  • Draft agendas, talking points, blogs, and communication materials.
  • Help organize workshops, dialogues, and roundtables.
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials, presentations, and reports.
  • Support translation and localization of key documents.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Experience
  • 1–3 years of professional or research experience.
  • Familiarity with economic policy, trade dynamics, labor markets, sustainability, and/or public-private collaboration.
  • Experience in research, business development, or stakeholder engagement is a plus.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, International Relations, Public Policy, Business, Political Science, or related fields.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
