ICJA - FREIWILLIGENAUSTAUSCH WELTWEIT EV ABIC - ICYE BRASIL Volunteer opportunity: Umbúntu Social Project - community and cultural space with eco-friendly project in Alvorada Brazil
ICYE Brazil invites young European volunteers to join the SASID Project, a Humanitarian Aid ESC initiative. This program offers a voluntary experience with the Umbúntu social project in a poor district of Alvorada city. Umbúntu provides a community and cultural space with workshops on topics like edible plant processing, handicrafts, capoeira, percussion, and language teaching. Volunteers will participate in and lead these workshops using non-formal education methods, fostering a rich intercultural learning environment. But volunteers will also have a hands-on experience in environmentally sustainable practices by participating in farming, permaculture gardening, construction and other manual activities of our project. The main aims are to provide humanitarian aid, raise awareness about climate change and encourage discussions on green alternatives. Join us now! !
