Tasks Summary

CALL FOR THE LAST VOLUNTEER IMPORTANT Only candidates available for 330 days starting in MARCH. There are NO options of shorter projects. We construct a more inclusive European society, supporting vulnerable people in a solidarity manner and responding to the current social challenges related to childhood and youth, such as equal access to education and to employment. Our objectives are: - To promote the child and youth growth and development by both non-formal and formal education. - To educate child and youth in mutual tolerance, respect of cultural diversity, intercultural, gender equality and prevention abuse or other forms of maltreatment. - To provide child and youth with resources for increasing, strengthening and refining their skills for the actual job market (employability and entrepreneurship); - To create and follow a mutual cooperation for educational matters with the teachers, the volunteers, and the social workers, linked with our NGO. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements The accommodation and food are provided by the entity. Tyhe volunteers stay in the same educational center as they place of work. IMPORTANT There is a fixed schedule of the vacaction days for the volunteers throughout the year (Easter, August, Christmas). Training during the activity During the volunteer stay there will be trainings with specific topics related to the work with the youth. Participant profile LAST SPOT LEFT The profile of the candidates is that of young Europeans or members of the countries associated with training or previous experiences of volunteering in the socio-educational field, aged between 18 and 30 years, with a high motivation towards social education and intervention education with vulnerable groups (minors in care, young immigrants, refugees, minors and young people at risk of exclusion). In addition, volunteers must be showing attitudes of tolerance, regarding diversity, integration and equality. At least basic knowledge of Spanish is required.
