Overview

The Consultant will develop an innovation capacity development strategy for the WASH Hub. This involves consultations with various stakeholders to inform the strategy.

Tasks Summary

• Develop a Capacity Building Strategy
• Inception Phase
• Diagnostic Phase Including Consultation & Analysis
• Strategy Development
• Final Strategy & Implementation Components

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in innovation, service design, human-centred design, UX design, strategic planning, or organisational capacity development
• Demonstrated experience developing organizational strategies, capacity development frameworks, or learning systems and support organisational change processes within complex institutions
• Experience working with WASH sector partners, INGOs, UN agencies, and governments is desirable

Qualification Requirements

• • Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in WASH, innovation, strategic management, business administration, entrepreneurship, education, human‑centred design, or another relevant discipline.
• *A first university degree combined with two additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in English is required.

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of another UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is an asset.
