Overview
The Program Manager for Argentina will be responsible for operationalizing IFC2030 at the country level, developing and implementing operational country strategies and action plans, and overseeing a significant portfolio of investment and advisory activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multi-year country strategies and action plans for integrated investment and advisory operations.
- Oversee all IFC investment and advisory activities in the country.
- Lead coordination with World Bank Group institutions and design and implement Joint Business Plans.
- Build and manage senior-level relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement measures to improve country results.
- Lead, manage, develop, and mentor an integrated and diverse team.
- Identify opportunities to catalyze market development through upstream engagements and innovation.
- Lead the development and execution of the client engagement strategy.
- Accountable for early review and clearance of sponsors, and review and validate IFC added value, development impact, and alignment with the country strategy.
- Provide guidance on complex investment structuring and portfolio management matters.
- Strengthen the IFC and WBG brands and country communications strategy.
- Represent IFC in target markets and enhance visibility.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial capacity with demonstrated responsibility for people management and portfolio oversight.
- Experience in transaction processing and portfolio supervision is a strong plus.
- Work experience in Latin America and the Caribbean is required.
Qualifications
MBA or equivalent professional qualification.
