Overview
The Driver is responsible for operating UNHCR vehicles for passenger and document transport, performing vehicle maintenance, and adhering to security guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive UNHCR vehicles for authorized passengers, deliveries, and collections.
- Meet official personnel and facilitate immigration/customs.
- Perform day-to-day maintenance of assigned vehicles.
- Perform minor repairs and arrange for other repairs.
- Log official trips, mileage, and consumption.
- Follow supervisor and security focal point instructions.
- Ensure valid documentation for passengers and cargo.
- Support risk identification and management.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience
- 2 years relevant experience with Completion of Primary Education or High School Diploma or higher.
- Minimum two (2) years of professional driving experience with UN or INGO experience is an asset.
Qualifications
- Completion of Primary Education or High School Diploma or higher.
- Driving Licences.
