Overview
The Investment Analyst will support investment operations, portfolio management, and market development activities within the Manufacturing, Agribusiness & Services Industry Group in Latin America and the Caribbean. The role involves financial analysis, market research, and preparation of investment documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial and operational analysis of investment opportunities.
- Support due diligence efforts by gathering and analyzing information.
- Prepare benchmarking analysis.
- Assist in preparing investment documentation and internal approval materials.
- Contribute to the structuring of transactions.
- Support portfolio monitoring activities.
- Assist in credit risk assessments, portfolio reviews, and valuation analysis.
- Prepare portfolio monitoring reports.
- Compile and analyze portfolio data.
- Conduct industry, sector, and country research.
- Prepare sector mapping and client analysis.
- Analyze prior IFC investments and market benchmarks.
- Contribute analytical inputs to country strategies, sector strategies, and client pitch materials.
- Support the development of upstream initiatives.
- Prepare industry and market analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams.
- Coordinate data collection with clients and internal teams.
- Prepare analytical presentations, reports, and documentation.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in investment banking, credit rating, private equity, financial advisory, corporate finance or financial institutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
