Overview
The consultant will facilitate and provide technical leadership in strengthening routine immunization data systems across UNICEF-supported LGAs through the use of Power BI for real-time monthly tracking, development of standardized call-in data tools, data quality review, performance analysis, and prompt feedback for data use for action.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead routine immunization evidence generation in targeted LGAs and outbreak affected states.
- Develop and manage the line list of health facilities supported by UNICEF and ensure the conduct of planned RI sessions.
- Facilitate the collection and analysis of baseline defaulter tracking data.
- Assist the analysis of Vaccine preventable disease outbreak data.
- Establish linkage with State, LGA M&E focal persons, and WFP.
- Organize orientation on project data management for State and LGA M&E focal persons.
Required Experience
- Eight years of relevant professional work experience with field work experience in Nigeria.
- Must have Background/familiarity with data analytics and complex information management.
- Experience in complex and large-scale data management.
- Familiarity with different data analytics and visualization, and practical experience in the development of real monitoring dashboards using BI applications and other mobile application platforms like ODK.
- Experience in overseeing large, decentralized teams.
Qualifications
An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: Social Science, Demography, Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, Statistics, Epidemiology, Health Education, or a relevant field.
