IOM Procurement Notice: Pilot Implementation of an Immersive AI-Enabled Soft Skills Training Solution
The Staff Development and Learning (SDL) Unit supports IOM in maintaining high standards of competence and performance by developing and delivering accessible, high-quality learning solutions globally. Within SDL, the Learning Solutions Development (LSD) team designs innovative learning experiences to address organizational learning needs. As part of its efforts to modernize learning approaches and leverage emerging technologies, SDL intends to pilot the use of an immersive, AI-supported learning solution incorporating Virtual Reality (VR) technology designed to strengthen communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills through experiential learning environments. Such platforms typically use simulated scenarios and artificial intelligence to provide learners with interactive practice opportunities and personalized feedback. This pilot initiative aims to explore the potential of immersive digital learning technologies to complement existing leadership development programmes and enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of soft-skills training across IOM.
