Overview
Provide day-to-day administrative, logistics, asset, fleet, and operational support to the ECTAD Programme, ensuring effective office management, vendor coordination, and logistical readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative management of the ECTAD Programme Unit.
- Serve as a focal point for liaison with government counterparts and service providers.
- Oversee office supplies, equipment, vendor relations, and resource management.
- Manage warehouse goods movement, inventory systems, and documentation.
- Support import procedures and customs clearance.
- Serve as focal point for IT-related issues.
- Draft correspondence, memoranda, and reports.
- Support onboarding of new staff, including travel and visa assistance.
- Coordinate vehicle rentals and logistical support for field movement.
- Ensure regular vehicle maintenance and compliance.
- Comply with local regulations and oversee fleet operations.
- Monitor fuel card usage and maintain fuel records.
- Supervise office messengers and drivers.
- Maintain records of office assets and manage disposal of obsolete assets.
- Ensure premises security and supervise security guards.
- Support petty cash management.
Required Experience
- At least seven (7) years of related professional experience in field programme administration, logistics, and management.
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative and logistics role.
Qualifications
• Advanced university degree in business administration, accounting, public management, or a discipline relevant to FAO’s mandate.
