Overview
The Human Resources Assistant (Affiliate Personnel) coordinates and performs human resources support functions to ensure quality, transparency, and consistency of data and processes, contributing to the smooth functioning of HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate support services related to employment and service of staff and mobile workforce.
- Initiate personnel actions such as appointments, extensions, and transfers.
- Analyse and process human resources requests related to entitlements and benefits.
- Support staff briefing and de-briefing, providing information on entitlements and contract specificities.
- Communicate with applicants and prepare offers/terms of employment.
- Collect and research background information; draft correspondence, reports, and statistics.
- Review, maintain, and update confidential personnel information, records, and files.
- Investigate and resolve payment inquiries in collaboration with finance staff.
- Prepare payment instructions.
- Train and provide guidance to other human resources support staff.
- Participate in the preparation of training materials and delivery of training to administrative staff.
Required Experience
Four years of relevant experience in administrative and human resources support work.
Qualifications
Secondary School Education.
