Overview
The Associate Research Contracts and Partnership Officer contributes to partnership and outreach activities related to Coordinated Research Activities and the Collaborating Centres Scheme, as well as Practical Arrangements and Memoranda of Understanding within the Department. The role also supports the efficient administration of these schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Record, process and maintain information related to the Collaborating Centres Scheme, and prepare relevant standard letters.
- Support the coordination and facilitation processes of designations and re-designations of Centres under the IAEA Collaborating Centres Scheme.
- Assist in refining the process and procedures of the Collaborating Centre Scheme.
- Assist in optimizing the Departmental partnership database.
- Engage in the Departmental effort in enhancing the work on partnership resource mobilisation.
- Prepare, format and upload information on the CRA and Collaborating Centre web pages.
- Carry out duties related to the administration of research, technical and doctoral contracts and research agreements.
- Assist in design, testing and documenting procedures of IT solutions for management of Coordinated Research Activities, Collaborating Centres Scheme and Partnership.
- Support in the preparation of relevant information, tables, charts and other components of documents relating to Coordinated Research Activities and Collaborating Centre Scheme.
- Perform back-up work and other duties within Coordinated Research Activities and Collaborating Centres Scheme portfolios.
Required Experience
Some relevant working experience at the national or international level including programme/project support and partnership would be an advantage.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - Management, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
