Overview
Conduct pre-screening assessments, interviews, and provide follow-up services for individuals applying for Assisted Voluntary Return (AVR) services. Manage cases by coordinating with teams and stakeholders to ensure successful return arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-screening assessments for AVR services.
- Input and track case details in MIMOSA system.
- Conduct interviews with individuals.
- Complete data entry in Kobo and Excel.
- Provide follow-up services for individuals.
- Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders for case management.
- Analyze cases to identify needs and interventions.
- Liaise with translators.
- Collaborate with other case managers.
- Coordinate with IOM offices in the country of origin.
- Coordinate with Movements to purchase airline tickets.
- Provide support and accompaniment at the airport.
- Document case management activities.
- Conduct TDYs in Paso Canoas and other border areas as required.
Required Experience
- Minimum of four years of experience in working with vulnerable populations.
- Previous experience in case management in humanitarian settings.
- Experience in communicating and working with a wide range of people, including those from culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Previous experience in protection activities in related intervention areas is an advantage.
- Experience in coordinating with institutional and UN counterparts.
Qualifications
- Professional in the social sciences or related career, with at least one completed Bachelor Degree.
- General studies in gender studies, migration, case management, peace and conflict studies, will be an advantage.
