Overview
WFP Egypt seeks experienced online volunteers to support staff in developing practical English language skills, focusing on speaking, listening, and writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-assessments to evaluate English proficiency.
- Develop or adapt learning materials tailored to group levels and professional needs.
- Facilitate two interactive weekly virtual classes.
- Incorporate group discussions, role plays, case studies, and real-world scenarios.
- Provide short, practical assignments and feedback.
- Administer post-assessments and provide detailed feedback.
- Work closely with WFP HR focal points to monitor progress and adjust content.
Required Experience
- Native or near native English proficiency
- Proven ability to develop and customize learning materials/curriculum
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching or coaching English as a second language, preferably in a professional or adult learning context
- Experience working in multicultural environments
Qualifications
• TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
