Overview
Responsible for leading and supporting the daily technical planning, supervision, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of basic needs interventions, including multipurpose cash assistance and distribution of NFI items.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the technical planning, supervision, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of basic needs interventions.
- Ensure cash program design aligns with the national strategy.
- Prepare ERD program cash forecasts and Cash Transfer Requests.
- Review ERD program transactions and client payments for compliance.
- Supervise cash officers and enumerators.
- Lead the planning, organization, and coordination of in-kind distributions.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain team for purchase requests.
- Coordinate with local partners for group cash transfers.
- Oversee information dissemination to clients.
- Undertake weekly field monitoring visits.
- Coordinate with MEAL department on targeting, data collection, and reporting.
- Provide inputs for regular reports for IRC donors.
Required Experience
- 2-3 years of technical experience implementing cash or community engagement programs.
- Experience facilitating technical trainings and workshops related to emergency response, food security, or cash programming.
- Previous experience in supervising MPCA programming highly preferable.
- INGO experience preferred.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Arts or Science in Social Science, Economics, Agriculture, Food Security, Public Health, or related field.
