Overview
The WPE Mobile PSS Worker will be responsible for providing case management and psychosocial support services to migrants and collaborating with the mobile health team for holistic care to survivors of GBV.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, age-appropriate GBV case management using IRC WPE standards and GBV Guiding Principles.
- Accompany survivors to a referral point when appropriate.
- Provide and monitor Psychosocial support workers in hospitals and health facilities.
- Assist in planning, coordination, and implementation of PSS activities.
- Assist in conducting community outreach activities to raise awareness about PSS services and women and girls well-being.
- Provide accurate information on the referral pathway.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into designated databases or information systems.
- Contribute to the preparation of regular progress reports and updates on PSS activities.
- Monitor the GBV referral pathway and advocate for improved referral systems.
- Coordinate a positive referral pathway with other actors.
- Promote and participate in initiatives to build team engagement, inclusion, and cohesion.
- Foster ongoing learning, honest dialogue, and reflection to strengthen safeguarding and promote IRC values and policies.
Required Experience
- Minimum one year experience in implementing social work or case management activities is preferred.
- Knowing the working environment with Migrants.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Sociology, or other related area is preferred.
