Overview
Provide technical and operational support to further WFP’s engagement on cash-based transfers, supporting the design and implementation of cash and voucher activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of cash and voucher activities across different thematic areas.
- Provide support to ensure compliance with WFP corporate procedures and assurance measures.
- Liaise with key partners on cash-based transfers.
- Provide active support to WFP Pakistan’s internal Cash Working Group and its chairmanship in the Inter-agency Humanitarian Cash Working Group.
- Support the implementation of cash-based transfer social protection initiatives.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of post-graduate professional experience in cash-based programming, digital financial inclusion, emergency preparedness and response and/or social protection.
- Previous experience in designing and implementing cash and voucher interventions.
- Previous experience preparing funding proposals as well as managing projects.
Qualifications
Advanced University Degree in Development Studies, Economics, Humanitarian Action or related field, or First University Degree with additional 2 years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses.
