Overview
Provide technical and administrative support to implement the ‘Strengthening of Korea-WHO collaboration’ programme under the Community Health Project Fund (CHPF).
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out practical preparations and coordination to support the management of KVC.
- Plan and support the donor meeting with MOHW and KDCA.
- Plan a Go WHO workshop in the Republic of Korea in 2027.
- Liaise between WHO/WPRO and the Republic of Korea.
- Evaluate the Republic of Korea - WHO Country Cooperation Strategy (CCS).
- Mobilize resources by communicating with a wide range of organizations.
Required Experience
- At least five years of experience in positions in public health, clinical health and/or health research.
- Some experience (e.g. voluntary work) within an international context.
- Experience in project management, coordination, planning and organizing.
- Knowledge of protocols of WHO/WPRO regarding administrative works like budgeting, programme management, etc. (Desirable).
- Experience of working in WHO/WPRO as a staff would be ideal (Desirable).
Qualifications
- University degree in public health, social science or other relevant areas (Essential).
- Master's degree (or higher) in public health, social science or other relevant areas (Desirable).
