Overview
Performs routine administrative transactions and office support functions to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a work unit. Reports to professional staff and receives guidance from an Administrative Assistant/Associate.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve, enter, select and analyse data from various sources.
- Assemble and review documentation for processing workforce, travel or financial actions.
- Maintain imprest accounts and reconcile expenditures.
- Prepare routine correspondence and draft correspondence to verify data.
- Maintain local inventory records and a filing system of administrative and financial documents.
- Maintain liaison with local banks and financial institutions.
- Support administration of personnel, equipment and protocol-related issues.
- Assist in duties related to recruitment, payroll, staff development and other HR administrative duties.
Required Experience
Three years of experience in administrative and office support work.
Qualifications
Secondary school education.
