Overview
The Associate Programme Officer (NAHU) serves as a focal point for outreach activities within the Division of Human Health, contributing to the implementation of regular programme activities and providing analytical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in deliverables of programmatic activities, including CRPs, conferences, and flagship initiatives.
- Identify and follow up suitable grants by screening professional on-line platforms.
- Conduct non-scientific editing of grant write-ups.
- Coordinate and contribute to the development of IAEA cooperation agreements.
- Provide technical support to collaborative activities with other organizations and agencies.
- Prepare, coordinate and quality-assure the development and publishing of internal and external publications.
- Serve as the divisional focal point for the internal database NAHUNET and maintain a divisional database of programmatic activities.
- Coordinate outreach activities and conduct consultants' meetings.
- Draft standard and non-routine correspondence and contribute to the development of outreach materials.
Required Experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in developing and reviewing multimedia content and articles at national or international level.
- Experience in developing or contributing to the preparation of scientific/ technical manuscripts and advocacy materials.
- Experience in coordinating the delivery of quality publications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - University degree in management, social sciences, communications, international relations or other relevant fields.
- Master's degree is an asset.
