Overview
Internship supporting the Personnel, Administration and Logistics (PAL) Branch in general services, logistics, postal services, infrastructure, and building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake an inventory of goods, equipment, furniture.
- Keep the inventory database up to date, performing regular checks and update reports.
- Follow-up of the stocks to help anticipate orders.
- Handle the delivery of goods as necessary (incl. heavy materials).
- Manage the allocation of goods for internal meetings.
- Assist the PAL branch in keeping track of CSO Staff requests for goods or services and taking action promptly to satisfy requirements.
- Provide support in the mailing of goods and documents.
- Support the monitoring of infrastructure, maintenance requirements and minor works.
- Support the escorting of service providers within the premises as necessary.
- Participate in the modernization of internal processes, identify areas for improvement, propose corrective actions and create new tools as necessary.
Required Experience
- Ideally an experience in logistics, facility management, infrastructure or building maintenance.
- Prior experience in a multinational environment.
Qualifications
- A technical degree in logistics, facility management, infrastructure or building maintenance or demonstrated equivalent training.
- Be able to use common office software suites, such as Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Training in the use of office software suites.
