Overview

Leads the programme planning, monitoring, and evaluation (PME) function across office priorities and areas of work, ensuring coherence, clarity, and effective delivery. The role leads planning, monitoring and evaluation across all office workstreams, while ensuring effective management of the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures effective management of the operations team.
• Drives delivery through strong coordination of implementation processes.
• Systematically tracks progress against agreed objectives.
• Ensures that systems, workflows, and resources are aligned to support efficient, accountable results.
• Drives integrated and forward-looking planning.
• Provides strategic coordination of activities to support the effective implementation of global priorities.
• Oversees enabling operational functions to ensure that systems, resources, and processes are efficient, cost-effective, and fit-for-purpose.

Required Experience

At least 8 years of relevant work experience in Planning, Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Strategic planning, Operations management, Performance management, Program management, Financial management, Risk management, Governance, Compliance management, Reporting oversight, Economics, Management, Social development.

Qualifications

Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Business, Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Business management, Social sciences, Planning, Risk management.
